Why is Walking a Mile Everyday Important?
Walking a mile a day improves cardiovascular health, increases energy, and improves overall mental and physical health. This simple daily habit has made me realize how easy it is to do and how much more we should be doing for our bodies.It reduces stress, improves your mood, while creating a healthy routine that creates long term benefits.

I chose walking a mile a day as my health behavior change, because its achievable, effective, and realistic. It improves my overall health, and increases my urge to workout more. Walking supports my hearts health, increases my endurnce, and reduces my stress. Having a simple daily walking goal, creates overall lifestyle improvement.
Theory Concept
The theory I have connected to walking a mile a day is Perceived Benefits. Being able to recognize the negatives of little exercise and the positive outcomes of exercising, this all leads to increased motivation. Understanding that walking daily will improve my life in many ways, encourages me to stay consistent with exercising.
